Responsibilities

  • Facilitating tests and collecting data
  • Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
  • Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
  • Analyzing clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulating final data for submission

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or higher education level
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
  • Certified nationally (for application to ND) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as an RPSGT or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
  • Travel maybe required 10% of the time

Physical Demands Of The Job

  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit
  • The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
