Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

About the role

The Respiratory Care Professional performs various respiratory therapy modalities, tailoring care to patients of all ages based on their individual needs. They communicate and document patient conditions within an interdisciplinary team, screen patients, and maintain equipment and work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy and adjust treatments appropriately.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient progress and condition.
• Screen patients and collect relevant information during visits.
• Ensure proper maintenance and sanitation of equipment.
• Adhere to core values: Integrity, Communication, Attitude, Results, and Engagement.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry-eligible, with certification achieved within one year.
• Completion of 6 hours of continuing education annually.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner per state requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferably one year of experience in critical and non-invasive respiratory care.
• Basic computer skills are advantageous.
