Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist in the Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Lab. Responsibilities Perform and interpret comprehensive pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion studies, and bronchodilator assessments.Ensure accurate data collection and maintain and calibrate testing equipment.Provide clear explanations to patients to promote comfort and understanding.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning.Uphold strict quality, safety, and infection-control standards. Qualifications & Skills Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.Strong understanding of pulmonary function testing procedures.Excellent communication skills for patient interactions.Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.Commitment to safety, quality, and infection control protocols.
