About the role
A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) dedicated to assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced airway care
- Operate ventilators
- Assist with bronchoscopies
- Deliver surfactant and nitric oxide
- Monitor high-frequency ventilators
- Support high-risk deliveries
- Assist physicians
- Manage ventilator protocols
- Perform optional procedures such as intubation and patient transport
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license (NM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS/PALS certifications
- Critical care experience preferred
