This is a PRN night shift opportunity at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
• Administering respiratory therapies
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation

Requirements

• Associate of Science (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Preferred)
• Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist (Required - DOH)
