Position Summary

Management of respiratory patients of all ages. Ventilator care, arterial blood gas punctures, intubation, medication treatments, routine cleaning, and stocking equipment.

Requirements, Experience And Qualifications

  • NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist. A registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care is preferred.
  • A.A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy required, Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
  • 1 (One) to 2 (Three) years prior respiratory care experience as a Respiratory Therapist, 5 (Five) years preferred.
  • Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Current PALS provider certification from the American Heart Association is required within one year of hire.
  • Current NRP provider certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association is required within 1 (one) year of hire.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

  • Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen*
  • Muthe Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.
