Registered Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Rotating

Employment Type: Part time, PRN with rotating 12-hour shifts in Silver Spring, MD.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a specified group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical professionals, and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Provide care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients as defined by unit scope of care.
• Utilize knowledge of growth and development principles to meet the unique physical and psychosocial needs of patients based on age.
• Involve appropriate parties (e.g., patient’s family, guardian, outside agencies) in assessment, treatment, and continuing care as needed.
• Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Requirements

• Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Current licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• At least one (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR training with recertification every two years.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Pay

Pay range: $33.73–$50.59 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
