Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Role Overview: This position involves leading and managing the daily operations of a designated shift, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of patient care. The role includes providing direct patient care, medication administration, and supporting staff, physicians, and families. The individual serves as a clinical resource, facilitates onboarding and training, and promotes quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead shift activities by analyzing patient needs, assigning staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality care.Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and monitor equipment, inventory, and staff performance.Support staff development through training, orientation, and competency assessments.Participate in process improvement, safety, and quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Serve as a resource for clinical assistance and foster a collaborative team environment.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards of conduct. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.Current NBRC-RRT certification and required licenses such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas like ICU, CVICU, NICU, or Emergency Departments.Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills to support a multidisciplinary team.
