Registered Respiratory Therapist II - Full-Time

About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. This role includes ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education while collaborating with healthcare teams, mentoring staff and students, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care through assessments, therapy, and education
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, ventilator management, and diagnostic testing
• Promote safety, documentation accuracy, and participation in performance improvement
• Support staff development, patient/family education, and adherence to policies and protocols

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program; associate’s degree required, bachelor’s preferred
• 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care
• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory Care Professional
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (including instructor and provisional as applicable)
