About the role
ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Founded over 35 years ago, we specialize in developing programs tailored to the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.
Responsibilities
- Provide registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within a designated site.
- Assess and intervene for assigned residential clients, designing and implementing treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and principles to promote health and medical stability.
- Train clients or family members on promoting health, wellness, and medical stability, as well as staff.
- Direct the practice of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on the unit.
- Participate in program’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
- One to two years’ experience in nursing is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
