Registered Respiratory Therapist - Full-Time (36 hours)

About the Role

Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, acting as a key resource for physicians and nursing staff. Provides direct patient care, evaluates therapy effectiveness, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory treatments
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness
• Serve as a respiratory care resource for staff
• Perform assigned duties with professionalism and adherence to safety standards

Requirements

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license satisfying state requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC

Qualifications

• Preferred: ACLS certification and critical care experience
• Preferred for Emergency Room staff: PALS certification

Skills & Physical Demands

• Proficient with respiratory devices
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Able to perform minimal physical tasks such as kneeling and crouching
