About the Role

Respiratory Therapist responsible for evaluating and administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians to develop and modify patient care plans.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) with the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and PALS may be required depending on the department.
• Work experience cannot substitute for education requirements.
