Registered Respiratory Therapist

Duties

• Evaluates and assesses patient’s respiratory needs to make recommendations.
• Administers medications and treatments based on patient outcomes.
• Delivers and assesses patient response to ordered therapy.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient condition and response to stimuli.
• Provides patient education for disease, medications and treatment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program approved by the NBRC, where clinical rotations were completed.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and RCP - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.

Pay

$28.67 - $43.01 / hour
