Responsibilities

Requirements
- Minimum Education: Graduate of an AMA approved, JRCERT accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care Program.
- License: Current licensure by the State of Idaho Board of Medicine as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), S.T.A.B.L.E. - Recommended.
- Physical Demands: Lifting up to 20 lbs., frequent transfers, occasional pushing/pulling, carrying up to 5 lbs., standing up to 3 hours, sitting up to 15 minutes, kneeling up to 1 minute, crawling none, stooping up to 1 minute, driving none, climbing up to 3 minutes, environmental conditions inside, risk of blood-borne diseases, exposure to unpleasant patient elements, emergencies/crisis situations, irregular hours/shifts, occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, toxic/caustic chemicals, OSHA Risk Category: Class I, High Risk.
