Responsibilities
- Aids in the initiation, maintenance, billing, and completion of the admission and discharge process.
- Encourages cost savings for the department and organization.
- Exhibits excellent customer service.
- Responsible for EMR documentation.
- Maintains confidentiality of all personnel and patient care information.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
- Maintains professional standards, completes required continuing education/certificates.
- Responds to after hour call back.
- Performs decontamination of equipment assembly and calibration.
- Affords patient and family education.
- Performs a full range of diagnostic and treatment/medication modalities within the scope of practice.
- Sleep Center coverage requires maintaining 10 sleep related CEUs per calendar year.
- Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory School; credentialed by NBRC or Co ARCLicensure: Wyoming Respiratory Care Practitioner LicenseExperience: NoneCertifications required: See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy and Certifications/Education Requirements Policy.
