Registered Radiology Technologist PRN, As Needed

Responsibilities

• Utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
• Prepares patients for procedures, educates them, and responds to questions or concerns using professional knowledge.
• Ensures age-appropriate communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
• Demonstrates understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
• Oversees and trains students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications

• Required: State Radiography License (RO) and ARRT-R or Temporary State Radiography License (ROT) with the requirement to obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration.
• Desired: One year of experience in general radiography.
