Responsibilities
- Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
- Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Maintain documentation.
- Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
- Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients and process billing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) and in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
- Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $29.00
Maximum hourly: $44.50
Schedule
A caregiver who excels in this role works days from 7:00AM – 3:30PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
