Registered Pharmacy Tech., Full-Time (West Pharmacy)

Summary

Under supervision of the pharmacists, this position is responsible for mechanical preparation of prescriptions, order entry into computer profiles, medication retrieval and counting, third-party billing processing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Order entry into computer profile
• Pulling and counting medications
• Processing third party billings
• Inventory replacement and management

Requirements

• Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications
• Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent or graduation from a Pharmacy Technician Program preferred
