About the Role

Under supervision of the pharmacists, this role involves the mechanical preparation of prescriptions for final check by pharmacists. Duties include order entry into computer profile, pulling and counting medications, processing third-party billings, and inventory replacement and management.

Requirements

• Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications
• Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures
• Current Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician Program preferred
• Previous Work Experience As a Pharmacy Technician Preferred
