Registered Nurse - Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC)

This role is for a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse specializing in wound care on inpatient units. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and coordinating care for patients with skin integrity issues, wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and incontinence. The nurse collaborates with healthcare professionals, provides education and counseling to patients and families, and functions as a care provider, educator, and consultant across various settings. Leadership, mentorship, and participation in quality improvement initiatives are key aspects of the role. The nurse must demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex problems independently. Qualifications include a BSN, RN licensure, at least one year of RN experience, and WOC certification within 24 months of employment.
