The Registered Nurse (RN) position at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering treatments safely, and evaluating patient outcomes. This role collaborates closely with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal results and a positive care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical standards.
  • Safely administer medications, treatments, and utilize equipment according to policy.
  • Advocate for patients while maintaining a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
  • Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through continuous learning, collaboration, and participation in unit initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience within Wound Care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Case Management experience preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Skills

  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle.
