Registered Nurse - Wound Care

About the Role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by other caregivers. Coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process
• Evaluate and improve care quality
• Collaborate across departments
• Uphold patient confidentiality and rights
• Maintain certifications and adhere to standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or with compact licensure
• BLS certification (or complete within 30 days)
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, and other certifications based on department needs
• Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
