Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic.
• Manages the clinical program from a staffing, performance improvement (PI), and human resources (HR) perspective.
• Communicates with providers and supervises clinical and hyperbaric staff regarding changes in patient treatment and clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous wound care/hyperbaric knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).
• Wound care certification within the first two years of hire.
• Maintains hyperbaric competency.
