Responsibilities
- Assessment and re-assessments of patients
- Development of the plan of care
- Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
- Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
- Supervision and coordination of other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
- Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.
Requirements
Licensure/Certifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS
- Ostomy Certification preferred
- Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill
