Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological health, integrating information from patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Develop individualized care plans with active involvement from patients and families, including education and follow-up support.
- Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, managing resources and prioritizing patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfer if applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BSN preferred, especially for less experienced RNs.
- Strong patient care delivery, communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
- Physical ability to assist with patient mobility, operate equipment, and navigate clinical environments.

This role involves inpatient and outpatient wound care, requiring excellent assessment, coordination, and documentation skills to ensure quality patient outcomes.
