Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological health, integrating information from patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Develop individualized care plans with active involvement from patients and families, including education and follow-up support.
• Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, managing resources and prioritizing patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfer if applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BSN preferred, especially for less experienced RNs.
• Strong patient care delivery, communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobility, operate equipment, and navigate clinical environments.
