About the role
Provide direct nursing care in a Med/Surg setting, ensuring patient safety and well‑being.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient conditions effectively.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure well‑organized patient treatment.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess discharge needs and collaborate with the healthcare team for smooth patient transitions.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a recognized multi‑state license.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
Schedule
12‑hour shifts on weekends in a hospital setting.
