About the role
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care. They practice according to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and organizational standards, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Coordinate care and partner with patients and families to promote relationship-based care that respects cultural diversity.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice and research.
- Collaborate with team members, support resource management, and uphold system policies and safety standards.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for new staff.
- Contribute to the development of protocols and support professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Associate degree or diploma in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state).
- BLS certification.
- Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of an accredited nursing education program.
