Registered Nurse - Vascular Surgery/Medical PCU - RN

Role Overview: This registered nurse position provides direct patient care in a 29-bed Vascular Surgery/Medical Progressive Care unit, caring for vascular surgery patients, medical cases requiring cardiac monitoring, and postpartum patients with NICU babies. Responsibilities include: Coordinating nursing care, patient and family education, symptom management, wound care, administering IV medications, discharge planning, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Leadership roles such as preceptor and participation in quality improvement are encouraged. Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree from an accredited program, with at least one year of RN experience. Valid RN license, BLS certification, and computer skills are required. Experience with electronic medical records and team collaboration is preferred. Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated communication, critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability skills. For sponsorship, state licensure and certification are necessary.
