Responsibilities
- Aid the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient, high-quality nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Lead, guide, and oversee nursing staff on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
- Implement care delivery models and processes to optimize patient care.
- Collaborate to maintain adequate staffing levels, minimizing overtime and agency use.
- Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, mentoring, and employee promotion decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
- At least three years of clinical experience, with two years in long-term care, preferably including supervisory experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills.
