Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming clinical calls, electronic messages, and symptom management needs.
- Perform comprehensive nursing triage using evidence-based protocols to assess acuity, escalate appropriately, and coordinate timely interventions.
- Collaborate with providers to manage treatment-related symptoms, toxicities, and urgent clinical concerns.
- Provide patient education, reinforcement of care plans, and guidance on symptom monitoring and follow-up.
- Accurate, timely documentation in the EMR to support continuity of care and risk management.

- Support standardized triage workflows to ensure timely, consistent patient responses.
- Escalate system issues, access barriers, or process inefficiencies impacting patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement, pathway development, and clinical workflow optimization.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff regarding triage protocols, symptom management standards, and care coordination practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
- Associate’s Degree of Science in related field, or Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Active RN license for the state of Wyoming in good standing.
- Experience working with oncology patients, preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience, preferred.
