Registered Nurse - Traveling
The Role
The RN will oversee rehabilitation services in various locations and community-based settings, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of rehabilitation services in multiple communities
- Supervision of LPNs in the assigned regions
- Potential to become a Medication Administration Trainer for the state
- Conducting assessments, implementing health care plans, and monitoring patients' conditions
- Making decisions that motivate the team to improve daily
- Collaborating with physicians and external medical centers to prioritize patient outcomes
- Leveraging clinical skills to provide technical assistance, medical oversight, and training of staff
- Using critical thinking and clinical judgment to meet patients' needs
Requirements
- Accredited RN degree
- Current state RN license
- CPR/First Aid certification
- One year of experience
Qualifications
- Experience in supervising LPNs
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
