About the role
Provides direct nursing care in a labor and delivery setting, following established policies and protocols. Coordinates multidisciplinary care, implements and monitors patient care plans, and manages patient discharge planning with the healthcare team. Ensures patient safety and quality care delivery in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and document patient conditions and care plans.
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and discharge processes.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a compact or state‑specific license.
- Minimum of one year RN experience in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of start; Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 6 months.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school; S.T.A.B.L.E certification preferred.
