Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate trauma care from arrival to disposition.
• Ensure effective communication among responders and specialists.
• Provide standardized bedside care adhering to safety guidelines.
• Prioritize patient physical and emotional needs during crises.
• Maintain trauma environment readiness with equipment and supplies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Certifications: BLS, Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and TNCC within specified timeframes.
• Preferred: 1+ year trauma ICU experience and leadership experience as a Charge Nurse.
• Education: Nursing diploma or equivalent licensure.
