Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Full Time

About the Role

This position involves providing independent nursing care in a clinical setting, addressing routine and complex patient needs, and managing long-term care plans. The nurse demonstrates professional awareness, delegates appropriately, and continuously develops skills to handle clinical contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitor outcomes, and document thoroughly.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification are required; ACLS certification is also mandatory.
• Completion of orientation, competency validation, and participation in residency or onboarding programs may be required for new hires.
• All candidates must obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods.
• Experience in acute care within the past three years is preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
