Registered Nurse Team Lead - Nephrology/HTN Clinic - RN

About the role

The Registered Nurse Team Lead - Nephrology/HTN Clinic is responsible for overseeing a team of nurses in providing care to patients in the nephrology and hypertension clinic. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of nephrology and hypertension care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Nephrology/HTN Clinic team
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical setting related to nephrology or hypertension
• Experience leading a team of nurses
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in nephrology or hypertension care
• Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
