Registered Nurse (SWOT)

About the role

Cottage Health is seeking a Registered Nursing (RN) for Skin, Wound, and Ostomy Therapy Services. This position is part of a fast-paced, proactive team at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care plans for patients.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care and ostomy management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in wound care within one year of hire.
• Minimum 3 years’ recent acute care experience.

Pay

Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.

Schedule

Hours and schedule are flexible to accommodate the needs of the department and the patient population.
