Registered Nurse- Surgical Services

About the role

Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, MO is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services Department. This position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative, fast‑paced surgical environment while being part of a supportive, team‑oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Perform direct patient care and delegate patient‑care tasks.
• Supervise other patient‑care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the health‑care team as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and adhere to all policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Applicable experience: less than 1 year.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse (MO) license – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Schedule

Full‑time, day‑shift schedule.
