Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Position Overview: Provides direct nursing care within Perioperative Care and OrthoSports Same Day Surgery departments. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, coordinate multidisciplinary care, carry out physician and nursing orders, and assess discharge planning needs. Qualifications: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license from the Alabama Board of Nursing, obtain BLS certification within 30 days, and possess an accredited nursing diploma. Skills & Requirements: Strong patient assessment, communication, and care coordination skills. Ability to follow policies, protocols, and physician directives.
