Registered Nurse - Surgical (Nights)

About the role

Join a dynamic Med Surg department with opportunities for cross-training across 8 specialty units. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients preparing for or recovering from various medical and surgical procedures, with a focus on close monitoring and patient safety. The role primarily involves caring for adult surgical patients undergoing abdominal, thoracic, or vascular surgeries in a 26-bed unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients
• Monitor patients closely to ensure safety and timely intervention
• Support patients preparing for or recovering from surgical procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
