Registered Nurse - Surgical ICU (Nights)

Key Duties

• Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for diverse patient populations.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient support.
• Ensuring compliance with licensure, certification, and physical requirements.
• Participating in ongoing education and certification updates as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state or eligible for licensure in a compact state.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) may be required based on unit.

Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift and reposition patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and physical mobility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
