Registered Nurse - ICU (Nights)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Completes a comprehensive nursing assessment based on admission nursing history and appropriate standards of care/protocols.
• Collections and gathers available data, makes knowledgeable interpretations, and develops appropriate nursing diagnoses.
• Safely administers medications. Accurately verifies orders.
• Documents patient care per hospital policy.
• Provides a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Contributes to the reduction of infections and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Supervises LPNs and UAPs when assigned.
• Reviews data collection and implements and modifies the plan of care for patients assigned to an LPN.
• Performs as charge nurse when assigned.

BSN

Preferred Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting highly preferred.
