Registered Nurse- Supplemental Staffing Float Pool, Full-Time Days

Summary

Registered Nurse, RN plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

• Maintains accurate and relevant records of patient care
• Administers medication as ordered by physician
• Recognizes and responds to life-threatening situations
• Fosters collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintains quality of care based on outcome-oriented indicators
• Participates in cost containment efforts and accurate charging for patient services
• Adapts care based on age-specific needs
• Supports patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure
• At least 2 years of acute care experience
