Registered Nurse Supervisor - Urology

About the role

This position provides administrative leadership in a healthcare setting, overseeing daily operations, human resources, patient safety, and performance improvement. It combines approximately 80% administrative duties with 20% clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational accountability for assigned areas, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Support the Operations Manager and Director in leadership, performance measurement, and operational efficiency
• Handle staffing, staff management, and coordinate with RN team leaders for guidance and direction
• Ensure patient concerns are addressed and monitor incident reporting and patient safety initiatives
• Assist in resource planning, equipment management, and long-term technology planning
• Support staff education, safety programs, and quality improvement teams
• Participate in recruitment, performance management, and financial oversight of the department

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Graduate from a specialty nursing training program
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
