About the role

The RN Nursing Supervisor oversees the day-to-day ‘back office’ operations of the clinic, including nursing care for patients and implementation of quality medical management and cost containment services. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care services and programs (patient experience, safety, HEDIS quality measures, financial goals), maintaining clinical and patient care practice standards, and collaborating with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, and leadership team to meet clinic objectives.

The Supervisor provides leadership and mentorship to the nursing team, manages operations aligned with nursing standards, and ensures performance and outcome measures support strategic, business, and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing staff providing patient care in the clinic.
  • Implement and evaluate clinical care services and programs, including patient experience, safety, HEDIS quality measures, and financial goals.
  • Maintain and evaluate clinical and patient care practice standards.
  • Collaborate with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, and leadership team to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction, and financial goals.
  • Present progress on clinic objectives at staff meetings and ensure staff alignment with goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing team.
  • Manage operations, budgets, and staff development in alignment with nursing standards.
  • Monitor performance and outcome measures to support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master’s degree in health services, business administration, or management preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing patient care in an outpatient/inpatient setting; supervision experience preferred.
  • Current, valid RN license through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Valid BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with audits and healthcare inspections.
  • Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records (EHR/EMR) systems.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Chinese, depending on the site.

Pay

Starting salary: $114,400.00 annually. Actual offers consider budget, experience, skills, education, licensure, and other business factors. The range may change and may include discretionary bonuses or incentives.
