Registered Nurse Supervisor, RN

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director of Nursing with efficient and effective nursing care.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
• Mentors staff and coordinates with other departments to implement the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff.
• Limits the use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participates in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and makes recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
