About the role
Oversee and manage nursing staff and activities within a 130-bed facility that provides long-term care and short-term sub-acute rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Organize unit activities and supervise nursing staff
- Assess patient needs and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and respond to urgent situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and medical staff
- Document care activities accurately
- Provide compassionate, quality care
- Lead emergency responses
- Maintain compliance with facility policies
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York
- Experience with geriatric, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's patients
- Supervisory experience
Skills
- Excellent communication and organization
- Patience and ability to work under pressure
Schedule
Per diem shifts, including nights and evenings.
Pay
Competitive pay with shift differentials.
