Registered Nurse - Stroke Unit - Nights - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Stroke Unit is a 29-bed, Level II Stroke Center located on the fifth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West. It offers an environment for learning a wide range of skills and services.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families.
• Plans and implements appropriate interventions based on the medical plan of care.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and adjusts the plan as necessary to provide safe and effective care.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.
• If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
