About the role
This position serves as a Spine Operating Room Service Line Specialist within the Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth facility.Responsibilities
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure patient safety during operations.
- Serves as a clinical liaison to staff, surgeons, and vendors, promoting engagement through open communication.
- Organizes and facilitates face-to-face meetings as needed, communicates products and services.
- Completes special projects and events as required.
- Maintains par levels of special equipment and supplies specific to the service line.
- Ensures accurate and timely charges are incorporated into service line surgeon preference cards.
- Works with the clinical manager to coordinate capital and non-capital budget needs for the service line.
- Attends and participates in clinical facilitator meetings.
Requirements
- 2 years of OR experience required.
- 2 years of Spine surgery experience preferred.
- 1 year perioperative services and circulating or scrubbing experience required.
- 1 year of OR specialty experience based on specific service line needs preferred.
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
