About the role
Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) providing perioperative care in a collaborative surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to optimize outcomes
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise OR staff, participate in quality improvement, and support efficient patient flow and documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum one year perioperative experience
- CNOR certification preferred
- BSN preferred
