About the role
The 3 Lacks at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is a 32-bed, all-private-room acute care unit specializing in geriatric patients (65+). This high-acuity, adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry, cardiac drips, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment
- Work in a nurse-directed, team-based care model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs
- Deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced-based medicine and individualized patient care
- Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- In Grand Rapids if ADN, must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Current BLS AHA certification
- Experience in a health care setting
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
In Grand Rapids if ADN, must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
